Yara Ramirez-Carrillo currently serves as an EHS Principal Consultant for a multinational safety solutions company, DEKRA North America. She also provides independent consulting and technical translation services for manufacturing and construction companies in English and Spanish.

With 10+ years of experience in manufacturing plants such as pharmaceutical, food processing, construction materials and the construction industry, Yara is passionate about industrial safety and the prevention of incidents.

Yara teaches all of our asbestos, lead, and OSHA related classes in both English and Spanish. She is focused, energetic and a great asset to our team.

As a Podcaster, Yara was a pioneer and started the first Industrial safety podcast in Spanish in the USA in October 2021, "Seguridad en mente" (safety in mind), with the sole purpose of serving and educating the Spanish speaking workforce and community in the safety mind-set and the hazards we encounter daily at work and at home.

Yara resides in Vacaville, California with her husband and kids. When she is not working, she loves to sing her son, cooking and taking care of the family as a mom and wife.
