Abatement and Demolition

 

 

CAL INC was contracted by Element 26 to provide Asbestos Abatement & Hazardous Material Removal. This project had several buildings of older vintage (i.e. built prior to 1970’s) and as such we assumed a percentage of materials that was to be considered hazardous for purpose of removal and disposal. We were required to abate accordingly.

 

Highlights of this Project:


Asbestos and Lead Paint Abatement and Stabilization of ACM and Lead Paint on buildings to be demolished.
All labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and disposal of all asbestos material testing greater than 1% and not eligible for DOSH demolition.
Performed Hazardous Material Surveys and Daily Monitoring daily.
CAL INC completed the project and achieved a 98% recycling rate.

CAL INC is proud to announce that this project was voted on as the Environmental Remediation Project of the Year, by the California Transportation Authority for 2010.  This award is very noteworthy as it is being recognized as the top environmental remediation project statewide.
