Please view the attached PDF files for a concise explanation of what is required to become fully QSP or QSD certified by CASQA.
For QSP:
The additional component to become QSP certified is that you must be CESSWI or CISEC certified.
In order to become CESSWI certified, you must fill out the attached application and submit it to Envirocert. Once submitted, Envirocert will review and return an approval letter to the applicant (if the application is complete and the applicant is qualified). This can take, at a minimum, 45 days. It is important to note that the requirement for previous experience is 3 years of focused inspection experience. Once you have the approval letter, you may sign-up to take a CESSWI course at CALINC Training (1.5 days of training/exam). The approval letter is required to take a CESSWI course because the first day is a study session for the exam that will be held on the second day, and the approval letter is required to take the exam. CALINC Training will need the approval letter, at a minimum, 15 business days prior to the first day of class. The exams must be ordered from Envirocert and the exam will have your name preprinted on it before it arrives to us. It does not make sense to attend the study session and then not be able to take the exam.
